Gas Cooker Energy Saving Widget

Every so often you find a really useful green gadget that does a little bit to helping you save energy and money. This interesting little Gas Energy Saving Device helps your gas cooker to burn gas more efficiently. At the heart of the device is a catalytic alloy disc that heats up to 100 degrees centigrade. When the widget reaches this temperature, it works by helping to fully burn all unburnt gas, resulting in more heat and less wasted gas. (more…)

Solar-Powered LED Shed Light

Sheds are usually awkward things, as they’re often dark, damp and a fair distance from the house (if you’re lucky enough to have a large garden). So if you want a light for your shed, getting electricity from the house is a lot of hassle and expensive. Using a solar-powered shed light means that you don’t need to worry about that. M2E – New Motion Powered Charger Technology

M2E Power are working on a range of alternative energy generation devices that exploit the Faraday principle. Energy is generated by a moving magnet within an coil, which could be then used for commercial and military applications.
