Solar Powered Camera Bag

By Dan (EnviroGadget Writer) on December 3rd, 2008

If you’re an amateur or professional photographer, you’ll know how quickly your digital SLR cameras eat through batteries. I imagine that you use rechargeable batteries, otherwise it would cost you a fortune in standard disposable batteries. The Solar Powered Camera Bag is an ideal eco gadget that will help keep your camera batteries fully charged.

If you’re using rechargable batteries already, you’re already open to the idea of being eco friendly. Chances are, you already have a 12V battery charger that you use in your vehicle. The solar camera bag can exploit your 12V battery charger to correctly top up your camera batteries.

If you’ve got a long day doing a photo shoot, you might find you need a fresh charge of batteries on the day. At the very least, you have the opportunity to charge your batteries in the field, rather than waiting until you get home.
