It was about a year ago when I reported on the YoGen Max, which is as foot-powered laptop charger. However, Easy Energy are at it again with their YoGen Hand-Powered Gadget Charger. The YoGen charger charges virtually any mobile gadget by using a draw and release mechanism. (more…)

The Solar-Powered Hybrid Alarm Clock is an interesting clock as it uses both battery and solar power to work. During the day, the clock is powered using solar power gathered from it’s solar panel. At night, the clock glows blue due to the blue backlit display. Therefore the clock is designed to save energy by using as much solar energy as possible. (more…)

The Solar-Powered Radio Headphones are perfect for people who love listening to the radio rather than listening to their MP3 player. I must admit, I much prefer radio as I enjoy the banter between the radio presenters just as much as a random choice of music. The reNEW Solar Battery Charger Pod is a funky variation of the tried and tested solar battery charger that looks a little like a photo frame. The charger itself is placed near a window or stuck to it directly using a suction cup. You place uncharged batteries in the top of the charger, and fully charged batteries come out of the bottom! The Solar-Powered Clock by Vandasye was created as part of the Vienna Design Week Laboratory, where visitors could see all aspects of the process as a design was being realised. The clock has been designed for interior use, and therefore has a large solar-power to absorb as much light energy as possible. (more…)

Set to be launched in 2027, iCar, a zero-emission concept car powered by, yes…electricity. It is a fantastic resolution to ease Mother Nature’s problem and bring a new perspective to our future generation. John Bukasa has do a great flavor to all of us indeed by designing this multi-talented machine, iCar. The specifications are amazing and what we though impossible ten years ago will become a reality, that’s in 2027. (more…)
