It appears that the Nintendo DS Lite was made for solar panels, as the Instructables author dark sponge has created a useful solar charger for the DS Lite. The top face has enough space for two 60x60mm solar cells side by side, each outputting 3V at 40mA. (more…)

These RobotiKits are a collection of 3 mini robot kits designed for school grades 3 to 8, and possibly 9 to 12. These kits are very easy to assemble and demonstrate the principles of solar energy to children. Since the kits use solar energy, they require no batteries. (more…)

When I was a kid, I loved LEGO. I had all kinds of Technic LEGO, and used to spend hours playing with it. Well K’Nex are just the same and have an educational kit named the K’NEX Solar Energy System. The kit gives kids hands-on experiments with solar energy, building a total of 7 different models. (more…)
