Bottle Catamaran Eco Toy

Finding eco toys for kids these days seems to be getting easier and easier. The Bottle Catamaran kit is basically a collection of bits that allows you to create a Catamaran using 500ml or 1 litre drinks bottles for buoyancy. So essentially you’re encouraging kids to recycle drinks bottles and turn it into a toy.
The Bottle Cataraman is powered by 2xAAA batteries, which drives a a propeller. The catamaran can then skim across water really easily. I would have liked to have seen a solar panel included with this kit, as it’s a shame that it’s using batteries. However, for just $14.80, it will keep the kids amused for a little while!
