The Tillandsias plant produces a decent amount of oxygen, particularly at night. By having the table in the main room of the house, you get the benefit of the cleaner air where you spend most of your time. The Tillandsias plant grows without soil since water and nutrients are absorbed through the leaves. Additionally, carbon dioxide is absorbed from the air, and oxygen is produced in its place.
