Low Energy Moonlight Night Light

By Dan (EnviroGadget Writer) on March 19th, 2009

Moonlight Night Light

The Moonlight Night Light is a smart little night light that uses NASA space-age technology to light up a child’s room or a hallway for less than 0.5p a day (around 1 cent). The light is also ideal when you’re not familiar with a somewhere you are staying, and can save you the pain of stubbing your toe trying to find the light switch!

The light panel itself is electroluminescent, which glows with no energy wasted as heat. Completely safe for children, and an eco-friendly way to have a useful light on all day and all night.

I have a few of these and they really do not put off enough light to do anything for you. I guess it is alright if you want just a slight glow against the wall but as far as helping see your way though a place you don’t know I am not sure if the light is bright enough.

Really? That’s disappointing. I’d thought they would put out just enough. I have some after-lites myself, and they work a treat for a few minutes whilst I faff about getting into bed once the light is off.
