The resort is a model of sustainable tourism, there are limits on the water usage, electricity is barely used as the pods are heated by wooden stoves and illuminated by oil lamps. The resort aims to use as much locally sourced and sustainable materials and fuels as possible, it also makes efforts to educate the guests regarding the preservation of the environment.
