Indesit Eco-Friendly Washing Machines

Dan | Jan 06, 2021

Indesit has announced 2 new washing machines to join their Hotpoint lines, the Indesit Aquarius and Indesit Ultima. In addition to the common features such as water and energy-efficient usage, these washing machines are actually constructed from recycled materials.

Indesit has developed a project to recycle shredded plastic waste from old refrigerators and turn the plastic into a high grade and usable polymer. This reduces CO2 emissions, cost, and the volume of raw materials needed to build a new washing machine. The washing machines are packed with the usual features such as programmable washing and advanced interfaces, making it a desirable green gadget.

Indesit is very active when it comes to washing machine patents, but it’s refreshing to see some environmentally friendly innovation too!
