Wine Bottle Packaging Transforms Into A Lamp

Ciclus, a Spanish design company, was tasked with creating a gift with the theme of turning waste into resources. Their delivered concept was wine packaging that also doubled as a lamp.

The interior packaging holds the wine and the lamp elements. The exterior packaging forms the main part of the lamp. The case comes with the lamp and an electric plug-in in the bottom compartment that can be pulled out to be used to create the lamp. Essentially, nothing is wasted, and all of the packagings forms the lamp.

If the packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials, then the product is almost completely eco-friendly. A great green gadget and an innovative idea. Shame that the lamp itself looks a little naff.
