The Rollable Solar Charger uses clever technology to create a solar panel that is more than just flexible - it can be fully rolled up. The solar chargers are made from a thin film on plastic solar technology, covered in a fluoropolymer coating that allows the panels to be durable, water resistant and UV tolerant. Because of this the solar panel can be used just about anywhere, for example it can be used on a boat, while out sailing, or outdoors when camping or hiking.

The Rollable Solar Charger can be used to power many different portable electronics. The kit comes with a 12 volt female lighter adapter and cable with O-rings. A charging adapter for the electronic device you wish to charge would need to be plugged into this lighter adapter. This may require you to purchase the adapters to allow you to power your device from a car lighter. The solar charger can therefore be used to charge any electronic device that has a charger than can be plugged into a car lighter. The solar charger is also supplied with a AA/AAA battery charger. This battery charger can be used to charge NiMH or NiCd rechargeable AA/AAA batteries, either two or four at a time at a rate of 400mA.

The Rollable Solar Charger measures 36.8 cm x 106.7 cm (14.5 in. x 42 in) when rolled fully out and in use. When the panels are rolled up the device measures 36.8 cm x 10.1cm x 9.2 cm (14.5 in. x 4 in. x 3.75 in.).
