I was wondering if you can leave this product hooked up throughout the swimming season?
I live in Northern New York and I can use all the help I can get to heat my pool for the kids but I read so many opinions that this product can break/leak very easily, is that true.
I also read that the product that was made 2010 are the ones to buy cuz the older ones don’t work that well, was there a recall on the previous made heaters in this design.

Thanks for your comments. I understand your point about the plastic. However, I’m not going to take down the product, so that others can make their own choices on what products they feel are worth it or not.

Unfortunately, this is a pretty useless product. If you live somewhere where solar powered water heating works (like southern Florida), you probably don’t need to heat your pool. Please take this product down, because it’s use of plastic damages the environment with no benefit.
