The Solar-Powered Eco House Electronics Kit is a great kit to get the kids interested in alternative energy whilst helping them to learn something too. The kit specifically teaches children about solar energy, as the solar panel can be used to power each of the LED sign display, the door sounds, and a windmill.
The kit can also be used with 2x AA batteries, which can power the LED sign display, the door sounds, and the windmill all at once. The solar panel can only power one at a time. Unfortunately, the windmill cannot be used as a wind generator, nor can the solar panel be used to charge up the batteries. However, the kit will keep some kids amused for a little while.
The kit is priced at £14.99 and is aimed at children aged 8 and over.
