Solar-Powered LED Shed Light

By Dan (EnviroGadget Writer) on September 3rd, 2008

Sheds are usually awkward things, as they’re often dark, damp and a fair distance from the house (if you’re lucky enough to have a large garden). So if you want a light for your shed, getting electricity from the house is a lot of hassle and expensive. Using a solar-powered shed light means that you don’t need to worry about that. The solar power charges a NiMH battery in 8 hours, and gives you up to 3 hours of bright light in the shed.  A great eco friendly gadget, that’s useful too.

The light is most suited to helping you to see what you’re doing in the shed rather than being a proper lighting setup. However, at the highly attractive price of £20, it’s perfectly suited to giving you that odd bit of light to see what you’re doing. It also saves any nasty accidents when possibly tripping over the garden tools!
