Solar Powered PIR Security Light

Sometimes there's a trade off between having a useful gadget and it's energy requirements. So if you're interested in home security, it would be fairly likely you'd want a motion detecting flood light. However, if these lights are coming on several times in an evening, it's probably going to cost a bit in energy costs so you also want an energy saving gadget. The Solar Powered Security Light eradicates that issue, as you charge up a battery using solar energy, and still get the security light functionality you want.

This eco friendly gadget can flood a 5 metre area (so not quite as much as a normal flood light) using 3 large LEDs. The light only comes on at night when motion is detected. You can adjust the sensitivity and on time of the light for between 30 seconds and 20 minutes. What's really useful is the solar panel has an extension lead, so you can position it to get the best light to charge the internal batteries.
