The DIY USB Bike Generator allows you to create your very own generator for powering your portable electronics from your bicycle. Dahon has announced the BioLogic FreeCharge, which is a bicycle charging kit that connects to any dynamo hub on the market, allowing you to charge your iPod, iPhone, mobile phone and other portable gadgets. The BioLogic FreeCharge uses the energy generated by the bike’s dynamo to charge an internal high-capacity battery. That in tern can be used to charge any USB-charged or powered gadgets. (more…)
