The PUYL is a combined bicycle pump and a hand-powered torch in one, perfect for cyclists everywhere. Designed by industrial designerKai Malte Roever, the pump uses the motion of a magnet through copper coils to generate electricity. Dahon has announced the BioLogic FreeCharge, which is a bicycle charging kit that connects to any dynamo hub on the market, allowing you to charge your iPod, iPhone, mobile phone and other portable gadgets. The BioLogic FreeCharge uses the energy generated by the bike’s dynamo to charge an internal high-capacity battery. That in tern can be used to charge any USB-charged or powered gadgets. (more…)
