The Eco-Drop is a concept to use the liquids that worms produce from breaking down waste food as a fertilizer for a garden. The concept helps to prevent harmful chemicals entering the food chain and to prevent water contamination. It also helps to recycle a households food waste into an effective fertilizer for a garden.

Most western societies have a very throw-away nature, one of many reasons our landfill sites are filling up fast. I applaud this use of eco friendly technology, a biodegradable picnic set, as it means it doesn’t matter if the plates, etc get left around in a field after a festival or picnic, as it’s all 100% eco friendly. If you want to keep the kit, you just wash it after use (as water is a vital part of the breakdown process). (more…)
