We have so many electronic gadgets these days, but truly portable solar charger system are not particularly common yet. However, the GoBe solar charger kit supports a range of devices, and comes with a handy briefcase for the solar panels, and a portable solar pack for the battery and charger electronics. The solar panel is rated at 10.5 Watts, and the power pack is fitted with DC, AC and USB power outlets. (more…)

Konarka Technologies have announced their Roll-up Solar Charger that uses ultra-thin solar panels to harness the sun’s energy. Although the product is still in development, there will be two variations of the charger. The first version will be a direct charger that charges up devices like mobile phones and MP3 players. The second version will contain an internal battery which is charged up via the rolled up solar panel. Then battery is then used to charge devices. (more…)

The Battery Wizard is actually a gadget I had heard of ages ago, but I hadn’t been able to find one recently… until now! The Battery Wizard will recharge both rechargeable and conventional non-rechargeable batteries. (more…)

A company by the name of GreenCore Air has released a new eco gadget, a Solar Powered Air Conditoner that is powered by it’s 170Watt solar panel. The solar panel charges it’s internal battery supply when left in sunlight. The result is a popular product that doesn’t rack up expensive energy bills! (more…)
