Now I love popping bubble-wrap, but I must say that I question how recyclable it is. But it is really cheap and easy to get hold of, and bubble wrap perfectly protects the majority of items you post or pack. A group of designers, Wonjae Lee, Sunkyu Kim & Sangjun Hahn, have come up with Paper Wrap, which uses a pre-cut cardboard design to emulate bubble wrap without the plastic. (more…)

With some clever innovation, it’s amazing what eco gadgets can be created that can help the planet. The 360 Recycled Paper Bottle won an IDEA (International Design Excellence Award) for this design. (more…)

In August I reported on the eco gadget, recycled plastic and recyclable EarthDrive, and this is another green gadget, Swedish USB Drive product that seems to be made of the same paper and wood chipboard that all Ikea furniture is made from! The recycled paper drive looks very plain and is otherwise the same as any other USB drive in terms of specification. (more…)
