The boat builder specialists have used their marine expertise to develop the PowerCube. Working with a company called Reluminati, PowerCube has been designed as a solution for off-grid energy supply. Whilst the sun is shining, the PowerCube can supply 600 watts of power. As you can see from the photo above, the PowerCube is a beast, but is perfectly suited to military, marine, island camps, construction sites, cell phone towers, and emergency situations. (more…)

The eco-designers are at it again, with these solar panel sunglasses from a pair of designers by the names of Hyun-Joong Kim and Kwang-Seok Jeong. The dye solar cells collect solar energy, and convert it into electricity. This electricity supply is fed to a small power jack at the back of the glasses. (more…)
