Tony’s Farm Eco-Packaging is a step towards a more eco-friendly packaging for the leading organic farm in China. The farm wished to use a packaging that was more in fitting with its environmentally aware philosophy. This pulp molded box allows the produce to be safely transported while being reusable, stack-able and sustainable.

The Vac From The Sea is a concept by Electrolux to create vacuum cleaners from recycled plastic. Rather than using any old plastic they specifically wish to create vacuums from the plastic they will be gathering from the sea, either from floating plastic expanses or from shore lines.

The Universal Packaging System allows you to pack objects that have an odd shape effectively and help you to have the right sized box on hand at all times. The system comes as a flat sheet that due to its construction can be formed into a range of different shapes.

A Belgian company called United Pepper has released a couple of cute yet eco-friendly gadgets for the computer, namely the Lili Webcam and the Oscar USB Hub. United Pepper are delivering quality products using strong ethical and environmental principles. For example, the webcam and usb hub are made in Vietnam in safe working conditions at a fair wage using adult labour. The product itself is stuffed using naturally occuring Kapok tree fibre rather than petroleum-based polyurethane foam. (more…)
