The All For One Remote is a universal remote controller, capable of handling up to 4 different AV devices. The remote can then be used to control all 4 devices without needing to find any other remote and can turn off all 4 devices from standby at the press of a button.

Most solar powered security lights automatically switch on when motion is detected, however, the Solar Mate Point 5 is a little different in that it is switched on and off via a keyfob remote control. The battery is charged up via the solar panel during the day, and a fully charged battery gives you around 3 hours of continuous light. (more…)

A group of designers (Lee Sung Hoon, Kang Sooyeon, Cho Eun Bee, Lee Junehwa and Kim Jean) have come up with a novel re-design of the beloved TV remote control. Exploiting the energy generated by a moving magnet within a coil, the remote control is powered by simply shaking the remote control. There is no need for a battery. (more…)
