If you’re on the beach or out and about in your car, trying to change clothes without revealing yourself to the world is pretty hard work. The Guide Gear Popup Solar Shower Shelter is a simply a tall vertical tent that quickly unfolds into a portable and private changing room. If you’re out camping, then the shelter works equally well as a portable shower cubicle, as it comes with its own 5-gallon PVC Solar Shower.

The shelter measures roughly 120cm x 120cm x 195cm (4′ x 4′ x 6’6″), which can accommodate the vast majority of individuals. To keep it as a semi-permanent structure, the kit also comes with some pegs so that you can stake it to the ground. Eco-Friendly Solar Pocket Shower

The Eco-Friendly Pocket Shower is ideal if you’re out and about, but likely to need a shower in the middle of nowhere. The shower zips into a 45mm x 80mm x 140mm pouch and weighs just 120g, but when unfolded, it can hold up to 10 litres of water. You basically fill the shower up with water, leave it in the sun for a few hours to warm up, and then wash!

The shower comes with 6 metres of cord so that you can tie it to a tree branch or tent pole. With up to 10 litres of water, you’ll get around a 7 minute shower. The Eco-Friendly Pocket Shower also has a special nozzle that allows you to adjust the flow to match your ideal spray setting.

When you’re done, just fold up the empty shower bag, and carry on with your camping! A pretty cool camping gadget that won’t take up too much space in your backpack. You can get your hands on a pocket solar shower for just £14.95.

It’s probably just a little too cold in the UK to be considering going camping, but if you’re planning your spring camping holiday, then the PVC-Free Eco-Friendly Solar Camping Shower might just interest you. As far as eco gadgets go, the solar shower is really simple. Essentially the black colouring of the bag absorbs solar energy which heats up water inside the bag. When you want a shower, you have completely free heated water!

The water will not be super hot, but it will surprise you just how hot it can be. And the great thing is, you’re heating the water in a completely environmentally friendly way.

In addition to eco-friendly heated water, this solar shower has been designed to be completely free of nasty chemicals. The outer material does not contain chlorine, azo dyes, or PVC. And no heavy metals, dioxins or phthalates are produced during manufacture. Actually, if you were to burn the bag, it would only release carbon dioxide and water vapour!

Available for around $22, the shower is available in 2.5 gallon, 4 gallon and 5 gallon capacities.
