The Centrica SolarStrap is a lightweight, flexible and wearable solar panel that can be integrated with clothing to create solar charging clothing. The internal battery is capable of storing 3.7 Wh, which is charged up by the solar panel.
The SolarStrap is capable of charging up any gadget that runs on 5V or less, such as the usual MP3 players, mobile phones, games consoles, etc. When folded, the SolarStrap measures just 144 x 97 x 25 mm, and it weighs only 60 grams.
Suntrica also have other products called SolarBadge and SolarBadgePro which are rigid panels in very compact sizes, i.e. only 144 x 105 x 11 mm, weighing 120g and 130g respectively. The range of Suntrica solar panels seem to be impressively efficient given the very small size of the panels. Unfortunately I couldn’t see any pricing information at the time of writing though.
