Murano Solar Powered Garden Globe Light

This solar powered Garden Globe by Murano is an enchanting garden light globe. Combining modern technology with more traditional arts such as that of glass blowing the globe adds both light and art to a garden while operating from eco-friendly solar power.

The Garden Globe[wpjap] comes on a post that can be placed anywhere in your garden, though some thought should be given to placing it in a spot where it can charge its battery (a rechargeable AA battery) through its solar panel through the day. With all of the globe light’s pole being steel coated in black, at night the globe can look as if it is floating in the garden while being secure on its post.

The globe is hand blown glass with embedded luminescent crystals which glow in the dark, this effect is boosted by the LED light which is run from the energy stored from the solar panels. The globe can stay lit for around 8 hours each night. The LED light turns on automatically when dusk falls. The globe though can be turned off to stop the LED light turning on. The globe and its spike measure 84 cm (33 in.) and the globe has a diameter of 10 cm (3.9 in.).
