The Bat is a wind up powered LED light that can be used both as a headlamp and as a bicycle light. The light provides a bright powerful illumination that can last a long time on very little winding.

The Bat by PowerPlus is a versatile torch that can be used on a wide variety of occasions. The Bat could be used as a hand torch, though it is supplied with an industrial-grade elastic headband to allow you to wear the light on your head to free up both your hands. The torch is also supplied with a universal clip that allows it to be used on a bicycle or maybe on a pole. The torch is powered through wind up technology, by winding a handle on the side of the torch at around 3 revolutions second electricity is generated to charge it.

The Bat has an adjustable angled light beam that features three different lighting settings: 1 LED, 3 LEDs and a 3 LED flashing mode. These modes allow you to select the appropriate lighting for the situation, if you wish the light to last longer the power saving 1 LED mode allows for this, while the 3 LEDs mode provides a stronger, brighter light. By using LEDs the light can last a long time before requiring additional charge from winding. The Bat can provide you with 40 minutes of light from both the 3 LED mode and the flashing mode and can provide you with 90 minutes of lighting from the power saving 1 LED mode from only 1 minute of winding the handle.

The torch is suited to use around a house as a torch, on a bike around town, or out in nature camping or hiking without any worries over replacing batteries. It can be used wherever you require it, either in your hand, on your head on clipped onto something like a bike. Due to its efficient use of the electricity the dynamo provides the light can last a long time on very little hand winding.
